Traveling these days is so stressful - booking flights and hoping the plane takes off as promised - and add also all the uncertainly of Covid regulations. Last night I spent hours trying to arrange travel to Arizona. So close to completion, then an invalid screen. By midnight, the best I could arrange was a 30 hour duration between BON to PHX. Night in Miami necessary, an added expense. Tickets ranged $760 - $3600! Today I was fortunate to meet Mandy Buttenshaw. When I discovered she is a Travel Agent/Manager, in passing I shared my experience from the night before. She said “Let me take a look for you.” Good luck! Waste of time (I thought) and frustration with all the back and forth between screens.

She contacted me within 20 minutes that she found better flights for me! I depart in the afternoon and arrive late that evening into PHX - while saving $400 in airfare and $200 in hotel! I was shocked! How??? She explained with over 30 years experience in the travel industry, she can access all the airline websites to get the best travel arrangements and deals! Sites unavailable to us, the average consumer, are available to her as a Travel Agent/Manager.

I never understood the value of using a travel agent until yesterday. I had the opportunity to extend a trip by a week, but when I checked the airline’s website, no possible return flight change options showed up. Mandy was able to quickly get online and rattle off three different options without a moment’s hesitation. Then she helped me call and talk to the airline agent to quickly make a suitable change for an extremely low cost.
